ARTINJAN

Company for production trade and services

The enterprise was established in 1984 as a private-owned trade company. Since 1992 it has been operating as a full-production-cycle enterprise: cutting, timber pulling, transportation, cutting in our saw-mill, drying in our dry-kiln, finishing products and putting them on home and foreign markets. As a traditional wood flooring company, we believe that there is nothing like real wood for your floor. Whether it is oak, ash, beech or maple, or any other genuine hardwood, you will discover that they all have their own characteristics and beauty, gifted by nature to us. Many other countries throughout the world use wood flooring because it is healthier, more durable and extremely practical. Basically creamy in colour, oak, of all the hardwoods, has the most diverse characteristics, not only due to its knots and rings, but also because of its rainbow-like hues of beige, brown, pink and red. For when laid and varnished, the finished effect is breathtaking and you are left with the sensation that your eyes can not fully perceive what you see, truly hypnotic! “Traditional hardwood flooring”, the very term, invokes a vision of the quality of the products we deliver. Over the last few years, the illusion has been created that man-made “pseudo” wood, could create the same effect as a genuine hardwood floor. This is not so, for there is only one, uniquely natural, genuine and traditional, solid hardwood floor. No two planks of natural wood are identical in character, colour or texture and therefore when laid together, the result is a floor, that will be a realization of your dreams. As a company who supply natural hardwood floors, we firmly believe that there is no substitute for natural wood. Over the last few years, the market has been saturated with imitation wood products and the marketing of this product would have us believe that there are, yet to be discovered, “laminate” trees. Man has yet to produce anything as well as nature, for the true beauty of a hardwood floor is reflected in its characteristic rings and knots and in the warmth and subtlety of its natural colours. After your floor has been laid, polished and sealed, you will discover that it is a very easy surface to maintain. A little, light vacuuming or dusting is, in most cases, usually sufficient. If, after a few years you wish to lightly sand and re-seal the floor, it will be as new again. This concept, which has been used for hundreds of years in homes, churches, schools and gymnasiums, opera houses, theatres and state buildings is infinite. A person's home is their castle and so we treat it with the respect that it is due. Therefore lay a floor that it deserves, that you and the family will love and that friends will certainly envy and as a bonus, will only add to the value of the property.
